Ivan Ivezic
Ivan is a Serbian born in Kragujevac. He is 34 years old and is a professional fire fighter.
Living in Serbia even with the kind of job that Ivan has is no picnic. He told me that "It is a difficult struggle and uncertain future for artists in Serbia, people work 30 days for only $150."
Not easy! But Ivan went on in typical style "I will never surrender!"
His passion is of course music, he says "I am fanatical when it comes to this!".
Ivan plays guitar and keyboards and is also a songwriter and has been involved in music since he was 15 mostly playing keyboards. At the age of 22 he got his first guitar and for many years played hard core metal. The influence of which you can hear clearly in the baseline of such tracks as 'Reflection'
Ivan has always wanted to get involved in electronic music and he is now fully committed to his current project 'IVEZA' which he has been working on for the last two years.
He is a little bitter about what he sees as the neglect of new music in Serbia. He says "In Serbia they do not respect the true value of new artists, kitsch and trash on the radio and they don't want to support new artists or music."
